The Wine Identity of Epirus at THESSALONIKI WINE SELFIE 2026 with Zoinos Winery

Zoinos Winery brings the distinctive wine identity of Epirus to Thessaloniki, participating in THESSALONIKI WINE SELFIE 2026 on Sunday, September 27 and Monday, September 28, at the Port of Thessaloniki.

With four selected wines — Debina Bio, Seirios, Arktouros and Vlachiko — Zoinos introduces wine lovers and industry professionals to different expressions of the Epirus vineyard, all sharing a common point of reference: the region’s indigenous grape varieties.

Debina and Vlachiko, two varieties closely associated with the viticultural tradition of Epirus, are at the heart of this presence, while Seirios and Arktouros highlight the possibilities created by blending local varieties. Four distinctive wines, rooted in the same place of origin, expressing Zoinos’ philosophy of bringing the rich wine heritage of Epirus into the present.

Participation in THESSALONIKI WINE SELFIE offers Zoinos Winery another opportunity to introduce the wines and grape varieties of Epirus to a wider audience, through an event that approaches wine in a fresh and engaging way.

THESSALONIKI WINE SELFIE, produced by Wine Style, returns this year for two afternoons of wine tasting, bringing together approximately 250 wine labels from established and boutique wineries, distribution networks, as well as selections from the Greek and international markets.

The wines are organised by grape variety, colour and style, with each label accompanied by information about its production. Visitors receive their tasting glass and are free to explore the venue, choosing the wines they wish to taste and creating their own personal wine journey.

The featured grape variety at THESSALONIKI WINE SELFIE 2026 is Moschofilero, with dozens of single-varietal expressions — white and rosé, still and sparkling — presented in a dedicated section. The showcase will also provide information about the variety’s history, cultivation and winemaking methods, its different styles and its role in contemporary gastronomy.

THESSALONIKI WINE SELFIE 2026 will take place on Sunday, September 27 and Monday, September 28, from 18:00 to 22:00, at Warehouse C at the Port of Thessaloniki.

Advance tickets are available through more.com at €10, or €7 for students, while tickets at the entrance are priced at €12, or €10 for students. The ticket price includes a tasting glass.

Professionals working in the wine trade, food service and hospitality sectors are entitled to free admission on both days upon presentation of an invitation or a relevant professional business card.
