Grapes are handpicked and transported in small baskets. Red vinification with indigenous yeasts tale place, with 12 months of barrel aging in French and American oak and then another twelve months inside the bottle.
Ruby red color. Intense bouquet with hints of red fruits, plums, black pepper and bitter chocolate. Velvet in the mouth with vanilla hints and high acidity in the mouth. Gentle tannins.

Easily combined with slowly cooked veal with red sauce & mushrooms, mushroom pie, chicken pie and aged cheeses.
