With two products that proudly reflect the identity of Epirus, Zoinos Winery and Epirus Brewery took part in the 6th “Go Local & Taste” Local Products Exhibition, organised by the Ioannina Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Municipality of Ioannina.
On the afternoon of Sunday, 30 August, at Mavili Square, Zoinos Epirotic Tsipouro and the new Stala Pilsner by Epirus Brewery filled visitors’ glasses, complemented the flavours of the exhibition and offered a refreshing break on a particularly hot summer afternoon.
Hundreds of visitors stopped by to taste, enjoy and discover more about the two products. Stala Pilsner, an unpasteurised and unfiltered craft pilsner, was introduced to the public as the latest offering from Epirus Brewery, while Zoinos Epirotic Tsipouro arrived at “Go Local & Taste” fresh from an important international success: its recent Silver Award at the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) 2026 in London, where it received a score of 91/100.
Against the colourful backdrop of the exhibition, filled with aromas and flavours from different corners of the region, the presence of Zoinos Winery and Epirus Brewery offered yet another opportunity to bring products of the Epirotic land closer to the public — to be tasted, paired with other local flavours and, above all, to showcase the modern and outward-looking character of production in Epirus.
